Your knowledge about the history of drumming in the continent of Africa and your ability to entertain our audience was the most memorable evening. The best person to buy Djembe. He customizes the drums himself in store, will give you free lessons with love for the instruments, you can walk in and jam with him. I heard about him from a major music store who carried Djembe themselves but the recommended to go for him if looking for a proper Djembe. I walked in and his walk welcome melted me.. Instead of asking me straight face what are you looking for, he made me sit and gave me a Djembe and started teaching basic lessons in my response that I am a beginner.. We Played for almost 2 hours with other walkin customers. So much fun and warm person. Descent prized, beautiful range as per need and best quality authentic Djembe I could find in Toronto.
We were directed to this shop in search of a flute. We walked several blocks in search of this shop and I am SO glad we did!! The flutes didn’t resonate with me but the Djembe drums certainly did. Saikou took the time to introduce my husband and I to the drums. He taught us some basics and when another couple came in he added them to the lesson. We had THE MOST AMAZING experience in that time with them. We will never forget it. I brought my beautiful new drum home and I so look forward to it speaking its beautiful music through me.
